Portuguese reports suggest that Sporting CP forward Trincão is being targeted for a summer move by both Manchester City and Manchester United.
The 25-year-old former Barcelona winger has been a standout performer in the Portuguese league this season and is open to a switch to the Premier League. His contract includes an €80m release clause, expiring in the summer of 2027.
Barcelona retains a €25m buy-back option and would receive 50% of any transfer fee if he moves elsewhere.
United manager Ruben Amorim and incoming City director of football Hugo Viana are both familiar with Trincão from their time at Sporting. Additionally, Bundesliga clubs, including Bayer Leverkusen, have shown interest in the versatile forward, who previously had a loan spell at Wolves during the 2021/22 season.
